This is one of my favorite weeks of the year. Uptown Charlotte is totally alive with fans of both basketball and of life. Each year the CIAA brings the Tournament to our great city, which is home to Johnson C Smith University, for a week of fun and basketball. The basketball is played in First Ward’s Time Warner Cable Arena and the fun is had…well…everywhere. Fashion shows, dance & dinner parties and charitable events rule the day (and the night) as old friends come together in a decades old tradition.
